“Well done.”

Stephan Jacoby, CEO, Volkswagen Group of America
  • Their thinking. Volkswagen’s vision was to create a place that connects to everyone in the VW family as well as extending the essence of the brand to those who are curious.

  • The arrival experience is more about how people interact with the brand than it is about the vehicles being shown.
  • Art Smith, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, EDAC, principal, design leader, Harley Ellis Devereaux.
  • The gallery is a multi-function spact that allows for several variations of colored lighting and furniture flexibility.
  • The showroom’s long, serpentine wall is reminiscent of a winding road.
  • Faces of Volkswagen owners reflect the essence of the brand.
  • The white space is a perfect backdrop to showcase each vehicle’s design and the polished white terrazzo floor tile further expresses the engineering and styling.
