Phase Two



  • The facility is LEED Certified through the United States Green Building Council's LEED rating system and it participated in the City of Chicago Green Permit Program. The building contributes to the LEED South Chicago initiative, one of the largest LEED for Neighborhood Development project in the country.
  • Building upon the successful collaboration with Pathway Senior Living during Phase I of the project, Harley Ellis Devereaux was selected to design Phase II, the Senior Apartment building a the Victory Centre of South Chicago Campus. The five-story building provides 72 one-bedroom units for low income senior living.
  • Resident amenities include a ground floor lobby, a resident multi-purpose room, a library with computers and internet access, a physical therapy room with equipment and a beauty salon. The first floor includes a satellite Senior Center, run by the City of Chicago, for use by the building residents as well as seniors throughout the neighborhood.
