Corporate Headquarters

  • Retail analytics firm ShopperTrak moved its Chicago headquarters to the 41st floor of the Willis Tower. For its design efforts, Harley Ellis Devereaux was nominated for Interior Design Firm of the year at the 2013 Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards.
  • The reception area of the 52,000-square-foot office includes lighting fixtures featuring international flags as a nod to ShopperTrak's international presence and CEO Christopher Ainsley, an Englishman and former geography major. The flatscreens promote the company‚Äôs services, client roster and global reach.
  • Just beyond reception is ShopperTrak's conference center. The blue glass fronts of the smaller conference rooms shown here are an abstract representation of storefronts.
  • Workstations are fitted on benches, with flexibility and future expansion in mind. About 200 people work in the Chicago office, which has room for 450.
  • Subliminal cues like spherical lighting fixtures in the company's cafe are meant to reinforce the idea of ShopperTrak's global business.
  • Bold colors and international images help employees find their way in ShopperTrak's "collaboration zones" and project break-out rooms.
  • The spheres return in this black textured wall in one break-out room.
