National Green Building Standard (NCBS): Silver Certification

  • "Lower energy cost let us invest more in the supportive services which enable seniors to remain independent and healthy. This is the heart of Mercy Housing Lakefront's mission." - Cindy Holler, President of Mercy Housing Lakefront

  • Designed for seniors to remain active, the building offers an outdoor walking trail and terrace with views of Grays Lake. The facility contains a mix of 63 one-bedroom apartments and 7 one-bedroom apartments with dens, totalling 70 units.
  • Special attention was given to the facility's proximity to Grays Lake along Belvidere Road. As the building is positioned from east to west and surrounded by extensive green space, views to the lake and lush landscaping are provided from the ground floor and north facing units above.
