Project Description: Harley Ellis Devereaux provided comprehensive Master Planning services to Highland Hall Waldorf School. Through various meetings and workshops, several key projects were identified as future goals for the campus. The first phase is the construction of a new flat floor studio theater with 200 seats in a flexible configuration. The project includes innovative sustainable features including displacement ventilation and night flushing. Other future projects identified include: New Science Lab Building, New Eurythmy / Dance Room, New Gymnasium, New two story Classroom Building and New Music Rehearsal Space. Sustainable items including: gray water collection, photovoltaic arrays, pervious concrete, and organic garden plots. The fully realized Master Plan was designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification.
