  • “...we knew the challenges were immense: a complex building program, a difficult architectural association, demanding building committee, tight budget and a fast-track schedule. The team met all these challenges professionally, technically and knowledgeable beyond expectations, and with true excellence ” - D. Maroufkhani

  • The Fine Arts Building at the University of California, Riverside addresses a complex program and a gateway site. It establishes a new building typology which signifies UCR’s commitment to the advancement of the arts into the 21st Century.
  • The Building Committee’s vision of a building “to put UCR on the map” was one of the important driving forces behind the development of the design. The gateway site enhanced by a pedestrian Fine Arts mall on its East provides the base for the building.
