Flexible Multi-Functional Center

Info

Tags:

  • Harley Ellis Devereaux was commissioned to design a flexible multi-functional center to serve in-house training, conference and large group (up to 500 for all-staff gatherings) use within a typical Class A office building enclosure.
  • A ‘teaming area’ spine containing a branded work platform and exposed ceiling connects the various learning/conference spaces and a café space that takes clues from the latest corporate store design motif.
  • The 9,000SF renovation is supported by a pre-function space, warming kitchen with exterior access, restrooms, mechanical room and storage space for extra furniture.
  • To achieve space flexibility most walls are moveable for a variety of layout and seating type configurations
  • Transparent glass partitions each side of the teaming area allow for natural light to infiltrate the interior of the space.
  • The Harley Ellis Devereaux team provided Program Validation, Architectural, Interior Design, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Construction Administration.
