  • A multistory lobby welcomes outpatients and families and takes full advantage of eastern exposure. Offered are café facilities, ample waiting in variety of modes, and an onsite pharmacy. Natural light creates a calm atmosphere through out the public areas, with views onto a park-like mall adjacent.
  • The idea of waiting intends to provide for families, significant others, and even staff. With televisions, different sitting zones for quiet, and even web-surfing- the new CVI understands waiting is difficult, and the intention is to ease this stress.
  • An Outpatient Surgery Center has a 8 OR’s. Check-in is provided separate to the CVI. Invasive procedures are performed in state-of-the-art suites, including 2 Swing Cath-Labs, a Hybrid Lab, and 5 Cath Labs. Staff have the convenience of dual circulation through a restricted corridor and a large, shared clean holding space.
  • The view from an elevator lobby includes beautiful homes, Ford Field, Comerica Park and the Detroit skyline.
