  • Natural. With our "trail to a new beginning" concept we incorporated design elements of ‘earth’ and ‘water’ into a reflective and harmonious balance. Evidence based design was at the forefront, allowing our team to provide the necessary research and expertise to our design theory.


  • Through the selections of nature inspired materials, ample natural light, and a harmonious flow, we designed an environment for all users and a multitude of generations to heal.
  • Patient rooms allow ample views to nature with full windows, and the overall warmth of finishes provides a pleasant experience for both staff and visitors throughout the entire space.
  • Warm wood tones and abstract elements of nature were used to reflect the surrounding woodlands.
  • The warmth of finishes, adequate and efficient lighting, and an all-embracing feel of the interior environment were key factors to the staff and their patients.
  • One of the most pleasant achievements throughout the corridors are the recessed art work niches which, provide a subtle integration of art and architecture that has a huge impact on the overall feel of the space.
  • We placed emphasis on the ‘earth’ concept by blending shades of green to sooth and alleviate nervousness and anxiety.
  • The pharmacy equipped with automation and bar code technologies.
  • More than 30% energy savings was achieved when compared against the baseline systems defined in the state energy code. Notable contributions to the energy savings included high efficiency hot water boilers, high efficiency chillers, variable refrigerant flow systems with heat recovery, efficient lighting, and a high performance building envelope.
