Oakton Community College Science Building featured in Sustainable Chicago Magazine

The new 92,000-gross-square-foot Science and Allied Health Careers Building at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, Illinois was recently featured in the Fall 2015 issue of Sustainable Chicago magazine. 

Working in association with Legat Architects, Harley Ellis Devereaux was the Science and Health Careers planner, programmer and design consultant for this project. The Life Science labs are designed with an entirely new spatial model similar to an octagon in shape, which accommodates a more interactive and collaborative oval learning bench design.
