John Dale published in Fall issue of Learning By Design Magazine

John Dale, Principal and Studio Leader, K-12 Design Studio, has been published in the Fall issue of Learning By Design Magazine

In his article, "Research and the shaping of learning spaces," John, along with co-author Claire B. Gallagher, EdD, AIA of the Academy of Neuroscience Architecture, discuss the influence and impact of learning environments on students well-being and performance and the growing need for synergy between designers and educators when designing classrooms. Without a synergy between the design of the space and the pedagogy employed within it, the user groups teach and learn around or against the design, a lose-lose situation for all.
