Detroit Medical Center embarked on a journey to build a new Children’s Hospital of Michigan facility to serve Oakland County and Macomb County residents. The facility was envisioned to create a healthcare facility bringing CHM’s experts from downtown to the suburbs in a facility that was unmistakably designed for kids.
