Innovative Learning Environments

April 16, 2013

This national post occupancy study commissioned by the Architects Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE) includes evaluations of four schools. The schools selected represent a diverse spectrum of students ranging from birth to adults, and have specific programmatic elements that presented interesting design challenges. The final study is derived from visits to each selected school, and interviews of administrators, staff, teachers, students, and parents. Mothers' Club Family Learning Center was selected for its unique program emphasizing parent education and involvement.
